My journey started between the pipes as a professional hockey goaltender in Switzerland's top league – think of it as their version of the NHL. For years, I faced down some of the world's best players, where split-second decisions and unshakeable mental focus meant the difference between victory and defeat. There's nothing quite like having thousands of fans either cheering or jeering based on your next move to teach you about pressure.

But here's what I learned: The game isn't won or lost just with physical skill – it's won in your mind.

After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching, leading teams from junior level all the way to the professional ranks. I've been the guy drawing up strategies, managing personalities, and finding ways to get athletes to believe in themselves when the stakes are highest. I've taken last-place teams to championship finals and helped develop junior players into professional athletes.

Now, I bring all of that experience – the pressure, the victories, the setbacks, and the comebacks – to my work as a certified mental performance coach for athletes and teams in Scottsdale and worldwide. Whether you're a high school athlete trying to make varsity, a college player aiming for the pros, or a professional looking to take your game to the next level, I get it. I've been there.

I work with athletes in all sports, from individual competitors in golf, tennis, and swimming, to team sport athletes in hockey, soccer, football, and basketball, because mental toughness, confidence, and peak performance are human skills.
